The 1st Ni-Cd battery solution for plug and play replacement of lead-acid. The latest generation of Uptimax nickel pocket plate battery technology is the perfect fit to replace lead-acid batteries thanks to its 1.39 V/cell single level charge. When a fast recharge is needed, 95% State-Of-Charge (SOC) in 8h can be reached at 1.45 V/cell for minimal downtime and optimal availability. These improvements come in addition to the key existing benefits of the Uptimax range. It combines maintenance-free* operation with total reliability for industrial backup power applications, high electrical performance, long operational life of over 20 years and a low TCO (total cost of ownership). Vital support to critical systems Uptimax battery is designed to form the heart of Uninterruptible Power Supply and backup power systems that operate in the event of a loss of the main power supply to facilitate the safe shutdown of processes, safeguard computer data and provide bridge to standby power. Typical power backup applications include UPS, substation switchgears, process control systems, emergency lighting, fire alarms and security systems.
