Yuasa brand NP and NPX batteries give excellent performance in either float or cyclic applications. These batteries are designed for light duty cyclic applications, fire and security systems, Emergency lighting, solar and wind support systems, UPS systems and toys!
- NP and NPX batteries are available in 6- and 12-volt models in a wide range of capacities to fit your needs. All models provide superior life and are manufactured using:
- Lead Calcium Grids for superior life
- Absorbed Glass Mat construction with no free acid
- Covers designed to encourage gas recombination and eliminate maintenance
- NPX models are designed for high-rate discharge applications.
- NP and NPX batteries are 100% recyclable, non-spillable and have been tested and meet the non-spillable criteria listed in IATA Packing Instruction 872 and Special Provision A67. These batteries are accepted from all IATA regulations provided that the battery terminals are protected against short circuits.
